Exporting

Everything that leaves ES3D leaves honestly: rendered at the size you asked for and never upscaled, in real coordinates, with compliance furniture and provenance attached where it matters.

Images & maps

ExportWhereDetail
PNG stillViewer card (Ctrl+Shift+E) 1× / 2× / 4× the viewport with a live pixel readout — rendered at that size, never upscaled; the GPU's ceiling is disclosed if it clamps.
GeoTIFF (DEM)Viewer card The imported DEM as a georeferenced .tif for QGIS/ArcGIS.

Exports render map imagery at the highest resolution the exporting device can produce. On a desktop that is the source resolution, and a desktop export is the reference. The viewer composites drape imagery more coarsely on phones and tablets to stay inside their memory (see Stories & sharing); an export lifts that reduction as far as the device can go, but a handheld browser has a hard ceiling on how large an image it can build, so imagery in an export taken on a phone or tablet may be softer than the same export from a desktop — just as it is on screen there.

The still image stored with each scene is captured from what that device is showing, so a scene saved or updated on a handheld may keep a softer still than one saved on a desktop. That still is what a deck slide uses when the beat cannot be re-rendered at export time. Updating the scene from a desktop replaces it.

Export a client-facing deck from a desktop Nothing stops you exporting from a phone or a tablet, and the geometry is identical either way — drill traces, imported solids, the DEM, the coordinates and the compliance furniture. It is the draped map imagery that can come out softer. For anything going to an investor, run the export on a desktop.

Movies & decks

ExportWhereDetail
MoviePresent rail 1080p or 4K at 60 / 30 fps, three quality presets, H.264 MP4 (VP9 WebM fallback — never a silent one: the panel names the codec in use). Live progress, ETA and cancel. Slides and 360° panoramas are excluded from the video timeline, and the panel says so.
PowerPoint deckPresent rail One click → a .pptx investor deck: cover, one slide per beat, a resource slide, and a compliance footer on every slide. Each 3D beat is re-rendered live at export time; text slides, 360° beats, the cover, and any beat the device cannot re-render use the still stored with that scene.

Geometry & data

Drill traces (DXF) · Collars (CSV) the download button on the drillholes row Desurveyed 3D polylines; collar list with end-of-hole depth, its depth basis labelled.
Surfaces (DXF)per-layer download Any honest triangle mesh with a project grid; if the mesh was simplified at import, the tooltip and the file disclose it.

Layers whose content can't honestly be written out simply have no export button — that's deliberate, not an omission. Import formats (OMF, glTF and friends) are listed in Importing data; several are import-only.

Provenance Every export is stamped with the app version and the build it was made with. What you sent is what you showed.
